ZG ParkingAlert app · last updated: 22 October 2026

In short:

1. Data controller

[FULL NAME], Zagreb, Croatia ("we").
Contact: support@ciludner.dev

2. Data that stays on your phone

The app stores this data only on your phone. We have no access to it.

DataWhy
Location (GPS)When your phone disconnects from your car's Bluetooth, the app records your location for about 15 seconds to check whether you parked and in which zone. When you record a parking by hand, the app takes your current location once, or uses the spot you picked on the map yourself. Your location is not tracked while you drive.
Parking historyPlace, time, zone, vehicle and whether you paid, so you can see your history and statistics.
VehiclesName, licence plate, photo (if you add one) and the car's Bluetooth device: its name and Bluetooth address (the device's unique identifier, e.g. 00:1A:7D:DA:71:13), so the app knows which car is connected and which plate to use for payment.
Privileged permitBlock and expiry date per vehicle, so you get no alert in your own block and a reminder before it expires.
Excluded areasAreas you have marked yourself, so you get no alert there.
Settings and logsYour settings and records of how the app ran, for fixing bugs. Logs stay on your phone unless you send them.

Permissions

3. When data leaves your phone

Ads (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads delivered by Google Ireland Limited (AdMob). To do this, Google collects device data: the advertising ID, IP address, device model and how you interact with ads. If you agree, it also uses them for personalised ads. On first launch Google asks for your consent (Google's consent management form). You can change your choice in Main menu (⋮) → App settings → Privacy. Without consent, Google shows non-personalised ads. AdMob never receives your parking location or your vehicle details.

Location through Google Play services

Your location is determined by Google's location services on your phone. Google may process location data according to your phone's settings and its own policy. The app itself does not send your location anywhere.

Maps (OpenStreetMap)

When you open the zone map, your phone downloads map tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation's servers. They see your IP address and which part of the map you are viewing, but not your parking location. OSMF privacy policy.

Paying for parking

The app doesn't charge you for parking and receives no payment details. You pay the way you choose:

Sharing and navigation

"Share" and "Navigate" send your parking location only to the app you choose (e.g. Google Maps or a messaging app).

Backup to your Google account

If Android backup is on, Android saves the app's data (vehicles, history, settings) to your Google account and restores it when you reinstall. Google does this according to your settings. We have no access to these backups. You can turn backup off in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Backup).

Exporting data

"Export app data" saves a file with your data wherever you choose. We don't receive it.

Bug reports, data error reports and log export

Only if you choose "Report a bug" or "Export logs", the app prepares a file with its logs, your parking history and settings. These files contain licence plates, Bluetooth addresses and parking locations. A bug report opens an email in your email app, and you send it yourself. We use the data in a report only to fix the problem, and we delete it once the problem is solved, or after 12 months at the latest.

"Report a data error" opens an email with no attachment, only the app version and phone model. Anything else in it is what you write.

4. Legal basis

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. You can withdraw consent at any time. For any request, write to support@ciludner.dev. You can lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (azop.hr) or the authority in your country.

6. Deleting your data

7. Children

The app is meant for drivers and is not intended for children under 16.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version here with a new date. We will tell you about major changes in the app.
